Has anyone ever had any problems attaching PDF files to grid lines on JDE Applications?

We are currently experiencing difficulties when attaching PDFs as OLE objects to Sales Order lines. The error reads "A file read error has occurred", this does not happen for other file types.

No. It worked fine.

Did you click on Create From File then click the Browse button to locate the PDF?
Another way is that you can add a link pointing to that PDF by using URL instead of OLE.

The best way is to save that PDF to the share drive (share network server) so everyone can access it based on his/her network security clearance.

Yes we could create a link instead of an OLE, but this would cause further security problems. It's strange no-one else has had a similar problem, it must be something to do with our server security.
