Oracle Partner Level .. is this allowed ?

Hi Guys,

Recently some of the consulting companies in our region broke the news that they are now Oracle platinium partners, my initial reaction was good for them

Later I noticed something and didn't know if what they are doing is legal or not.

Example: Company ABC has Partner Membership Level: Platinum but partner category is education provider. Now company ABC is a consulting company and market that they are platinium partners in providing consulting services.

My question is, is this allowed ? what is the difference between education provider and system integrator then .

as far as "legal" goes . . . no one is going to get sent to jail over it. These are Oracle's rules - not the World Court.

Its purely up to Oracle what they want to allow or not.
