OLE Media Object Relocation

We are investigating using OLE Media Objects that are linked to the source files on our network. This allows the files to be maintained through either OW or from the network, which could be very beneficial for us.

However, it appears that the link stored in the .stg file of the media object queue in OW is a combination of the UNC (e.g. \\servername) and internal file id for the OLE file (and probably some other goodies). This is fine unless we have to move our OLE files onto another server due to capacity requirements. If you change the server on which a file resides, this changes the UNC specification, and breaks the link from OW to the OLE media object file.

Is there a procedure or program that can be run to move media objects safely from one server to another such that the .stg files are pointed to the new server in such a case?
