Hi Marc,
thanks for your reply.
In the mean time I have raised a call at JDE also.
For your information : JDE has created a SAR #6568078 for it.
Best regards,

Interesting point. The introduction of support for negative forecasts came
into (I recall) WorldSoftware at A7.3 on the P34650. I never tested the
results in P4021 or P3482/R3482 in either World or OneWorld but I suspect
that this functionality was restricted to the Forecasting module only.
A negative forecast can only be interpreted as a negative demand, ie, a
Supply. Maybe a business could justify using this for an expected wholesale
return of stock sold to customers. Even then you would expect it to net off
a larger positive Forecast. I don't full understand why you would want it
to handle the overstock you describe or how this would work. I suggest you
use regular Requirement planning mechanisms. It might be best to check the
Knowledge Garden and your local friendly GCS. I wouldn't be surprised if
MRP and S&D Inquiry have never supported negative forecasts.
Some section of the OneWorld Manuals have been copied across from their
World equivalents. You can't always t!
ake them as gospel. I know sections of the OneWorld manuals that still
refer to the "fold" area! Not all World Functionality has yet made it to
OneWorld. True.
