MS Project Integration

Is anyone aware of any clients/customers that are integrating JDE OneWorld to Microsoft Project in any way?

In particular, I am keen to know how it is possible to enter a new task in Microsoft Project and then have it populate a 'task' line in JDE's Job Costing or Project Management. Please provide as much information as possible including specific JDE product(s) being used, associated release levels and which specific version of Microsoft Project is being used.

In order to accomplish your task you would need to write custom code in
Microsoft Project (probably using the VBA that is within project) to call the
appropriate JDE business functions and pass the information into JDE. You
also would probably need to use Projects database functions to have the
appropriate JDE control fields contained within the Project so that it would
be able to pass the correct parameters into JDE. The versions of OneWorld or
Microsoft project are not going to effect the tasks or effort necessary to
accomplish this.
