Mass Change in Purchasing Price in P4105 and Open purchase orders.

Hi all

I would like to know a better way to change the purchasing price of items in f4105 table.

We have two types of costs. one standard (07) and Purchase (08). If a supplier has revised the purchasing cost of multiple items, is there a way to change the cost in F4105 and all the open purchase orders.

you can write an rpg program to do the same, it will be quite simple one

You can use R4105Z1I 'Z' process to update prices.

Now the R4105Z1I will fix the cost table only, correct? We are fixing cost manually through access one PO at a time when the PO price is incorrect. We are correcting all the PO and receiving tables that carry cost and then manually re-calculating the weighted average and updating the part cost through JDE.

Is there a better way? I just spoke with some friends who say we can just use the 4330 AAI and it will create the correct journal entries etc at voucher matching. So I am looking at that but it will not (as far as we know right now) update the weighted average, purchase order etc it just corrects the accounting end of things.

Any Ideas???
