Lost ALL ER Code

Hello Everyone,
I have a problem that is somewhat wierd. A financial report I have has 23 sections. Only 1/3 of which are the sections with the smart fields, the other are group heading and a group variable type section.
The problem is when I added two new sections in the middle of the report, all the ER code disappeared.
Has anyone ever experienced this?

Sorry for the incorrect systme info...currently on AS 400, Xe 20

Hi there...
I had the same but with NER ER...Checking Out or Getting again the object
didn´t help; as this is a random issue and no log messages are generated,
then no answer from JDE... I had to retype ALL the ER for that NER.

Hope you find the answer and share it with us.

XE SP 19.1 Update 5 Win2000 and MSSQL 7

That's a new one! If you reboot your PC, then do a GET to refresh your specs and try again, can you duplicate this problem?

Re: RE: Lost ALL ER Code

Thank you all for responding.
I'm having the PROD environment specs transfered to the DV environment and will try again from a different WS, hopefully without the same results.

Re: RE: Lost ALL ER Code

That's becoz, you would have had one more screen of NER apart from the one you have with missing NER.

Let's say, you have omw and working with BSFN NER, you opened again one more omw screen and when you try to open a different BSFN and look at NERs you can only see the Blank screen with no code.

I'm not sure abt the report, But BSFN, happened many times to me..

What I have to do is to close all the screens not saving anything, and open only one OMW and work with only one NER. Everything is perfect.

Try this, might work.

RE: RE: Lost ALL ER Code

Noop, I had only one NER screen opened.. It also happens some times that no
code is displayed when you just open the NER screen, you have to close
(without saving anything as you said)and reopen the NER screen.
