JDE Support Assistant

Hi,

Has anybody downloaded and tried out the JDE Support Assistant? I haven't
used it yet to send information to JDE on a call but I have had a play with
it and it seems quite useful. Any input from others would be useful.

They had me download it to troubleshoot package builds on the deployment server but it won't generate anything when logged onto DEP7333 on the deployment server. The only way I can get it to generate anything is if I use a workstation. JDE was puzzled by this.

THE TOOL IS VERY USEFUL IT CAN CAPTURE SCREENS, DATA, BUSINES FUCTION,
TABLES, UBE'S, INI, LOGS, PROCESSING OPTIONS. IT CAN BE USED AS AN INTERNAL
TOOL AS WELL FOR HELPING END USERS.

You can find it in KN, if you type 'Support Assistant' in the search box and
check in support box. If you want I can send you a copy.

Hi -

Has anyone been able to run the Support Assistant on a Citrix server? It hangs when trying this. On the Deployment server and Fat Clients it runs fine. Any ideas?

I have run the newest version (Dec 2002) on a Citrix Server and it seems ok. What sort of problems did you have? I ran my directly on the server through a terminal services session. How did you run it?
 
Does anyone know how to switch e-mail addresses for the JDE List, or cancel
my subscription?. I am getting a new e-mail address, and would like to
still participate
