Hello,
We just purchased JDE ERP B7334 Service Pack 19.
I am looking at purchasing a couple of dev books.
J.D. Edwards® OneWorld XE®: Using Object Management Workbench $35.00
Purchase J.D. Edwards® OneWorld Complete Reference for $50.00

Are these a good buy?

Thanks,

Mark Potter

Yes. Be aware that the 'Complete Reference' book is one release out of date. However it is still a valuable reference. The major changes for a developer is covered by the 'Object Management Workbench' book.

Also JDE Training - though overpriced - is not something you should skimp on.

I would also include the book from osborne press:
JD Edwards OneWorld: A Developers Guide

this book written prior to XE or 7334, but it will prove to be very beneficial--a couple of years ago I paid 70, but I have seen at certain websites for 35-50.

This book is benefitting me right now - as my monitor stand! But seriously, I didn't find this book to be all to helpful as a new JDE developer. I gained exponentially more help from this list than I did from the developer's guide, hence the guide is being used as a $70 means to the elevation of my CRT.
