Jd Edwards a7.3 GL date

I need to change the GL date on PI Batch that has no been posted. When I try to do the change the date appears in red and the change cannot be done. Can someone help me?

Once a transaction is created one cannot change the GL Date even if it is not posted. However you should be able to inquire on it and "A" - add a new transaction with the correct GL date. Once you do this, go back and delete the old one.

the g/l date cannot be changed if:
the batch has been posted
or
the period which you are changing the date to is closed
