Item History(F4115) Updates

Is there a way to stop certain transactions from updating the Item History table? When we scrap material out of inventory, for whatever reason, we do not want to update the "usage" in the F4115 table. Is it controlled by the DocType, AAI's or hard-coded.

Should be controlled by processing options on programs that update inventory
such as Inventory Issues, Sales Update, etc.

Check in inventory for Program P4112 on the Process Tab number 7 Item Sales history if it is 1 then it should update F4115 if it is blank it doesn't.

As Andee stated before you should eventually check other programs.

Depending on what your company needs you could set up different document types.
