Is There a Way To Make a Batch In Use a Batch Out Of Use?

Hello, List,

Is there a way to make a batch which was not processed completely (say P0411 hung up during voucher entry) processable again?
I mean we've got some batches which were not closed correctly (by BSFN FXXXX End Document) and thus remain in "U" (In Use) status. We'd like to change the batch status to "A" (Approved) and try to repost them.
IMHO - there's no such option. If so, could anyone, please, tell how to remove these batches out of OW database? Manually, using ODBC? Or there's some standard OW application to fight the U-Batches?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I forgot:
We use Xe U2 SP16.1 + couple of ESUs + Oracle 8.1.6

Hi,

We have come across this problem before.
We just changed the status to "Pending" from batch review program (P0011)
to make sure all the entries were correct and then approved and posted.

Hello, List!

I found one: simply go into P0011, select the batch you need and push "Revise" ("Row" menu). There you may set the status you want the batch to have. Even "Posted" :)

Are there any issues known with this way or there are other options?

Hi Oops,

Simply go into P0011, select the batch you need and push "Revise" ("Row" menu).

That is the safest/recommended way to do it.
