Invalid Subledger and/or Subledger Type

We would like to track our expenses by job number from GL.so what we are doing that we are using subledger as job number (no validation) and type as J,system is allowing to enter .but while posting the batch it give a error message that
"Invalid Subledger and/or Subledger Type",first time we are using subleder type J ,is there any setup required.

We are on JDE World A9.1.

Our A7.3 Data Dictionary for data item SBLT, subledger type, gives us more information. Is that available in A9.1?

J Validates against the Change Request Master Table (F5301).
There is no entry in F5301 that is the reason its not allowing.
