How to prevent Flash Messages from Populating Work Orders

Does anyone know how to prevent the Flash Message code from automatically populating the Flash Message Code on Work Orders when work order rules are violated? For example, if the system doesn't think the work order dates are set correctly, it will automatically populate the flash code field and display a message in the description field on the Shop Floor Workbench. This creates a problem for all that use the workbench because they rely on the description for important info. In our environment, the work order messages are meaningless.

The best way is to modify the description UDC 00/WM. In most places I have implemented SFC, the flash messages are meaningless and can be annoying if you use the SF work bench.
