GL Date updation failure in Cardex

Pls let me know what is best solution to correct GL date field updation failure in cardex , because this is creating very massive diff between Cardex VS as of report
and As of Report VS G/L , we are facing this problems
mainly for Manufacturing batches (IC batches. )

Maybe a silly question, but has R31802 (or R31802A) been run for these records?

I have seen plenty of situations where
* a completion was recorded
* a completion was subsequently reversed (neg completion)
* Work order status was moved to 'cancelled'

The cardex will still contain the transactions, but there will not be any g/L dates against these records.

Ofcourse, I excecuted R31802 for these records but still
there is no updation of G/L date in cardex

We are on E810 and we sometimes have the same problem.

In our case the issues are

Outside operations that have been created in the routing but the *OP part and cost has not been set.

The incorrect advance of work order status can also cause this problem.

Have you looked at work centre messages, it may also be a missing AAI?
