I have a very simple Application !!
A Find/Browse with a Select to call a second Form which is a Fix/Inspect. Both Forms a over a single view. The view, file and Forms are custom built by me !!
The problem...................
My file has 4 key fields. Prog ID, Version, Company and Doc. Type. When I select a record with values in the key fields for Prog ID and/or Version the Fix/Inspect loads up just fine !! (Key fields protected as expected). If I select a record with values in the key fields for Prog ID, Version and Company ……… The Fix/Inspect shows the record selected but the key fields are NOT protected AND if I try to update the record I get a message saying Duplicate records not allowed !! It appears that the record is not being retrieved correctly.
If it helps, my Data Structure field sequence does not appear to be in the keyed sequence of my file. A bit odd maybe ??
