Finite Scheduler to schedule both Production and Maintenance

We currently compile our production plan manually outside of JDE. Although we currently maintain Production Work Orders in the system, Maintenance Work Orders are handled outside as well.

We are thinking of bringing the maintenance Work Orders into the system and implementing the Finite Planner module so that we can produce and maintain a production schedule in JDE that includes both Maintenance and Production.

Is this a reasonable goal? Who out there has done this successfully?

Hi Tony,

We currently use Finite Work Orders (WO) and Maintenance Work Orders WX to create a production schedule. It does work.
