Exception number:c0000005 (access violation) on Citrix Server

We get the error at random on both our terminal servers running Citrix Enterprise on W2K3
WE are using OW Xe Update 7 SP23_K1 on 520 iseries

Application exception occurred:
App: D:\B7\system\Bin32\oexplore.exe (pid=9244)
When: 2007/03/23 @ 14:14:55.322
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

*** ERROR: Symbol file could not be found. Defaulted to export symbols for C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll -
Stack dump goes on and on.

Any help would be appreciated.

If your database is SQL Server, then add
ConnectionPooling=0 to your [DB SYSTEM SETTINGS]
section on all the JDE.INIs (server and clients)

If your ES is Windows 2003, then disable DEP by adding
/noexecute=AlwaysOff to the end of the c:\boot.ini file.

I noticed that DEP added some unstability to my jdenet_k
and runbatch processes on the UBE Server, and to
activconsole.exe on the Citrix boxes.

Hi Sebastian
We are on 520 iseries running DB2400 and Deployment Server is W2k3 and so are the Citrix servers W2k3
Xe Update 7 and SP 23_K1.

I am getting the same thing on our 64bit 2003 servers. DEP is turned on only for essential Windows programs and services only.

We are on 8.0 SP23.
