EUR/USD Conversion

Hi List. I am a new user to this, and am looking for all the help I can. We have vendors that we purchase from but need to crete the purchase order in EUR and in Metric Ton. The EUR to USD conversion seems to work fine if they are set up correctly in the Supplier Master. However, the Metric Ton to LB does not seem to work quite as cleanly as I would expect. We receive all material in LBS but would like to purchase this in metric ton and also pay them in EUR. I feel as if I am babbling and not making any sense, but if anyone has run into this, can you please let me know? Thanks in Advance
