distance between two customers (address book)

HI,

I like to know on whether JDE has BSFN or NER to get the distance between two customer (using address in the Address Book master). Let me know if there is one. We need this to incorporate in the implementation to assist the shipping to choose primary,secondary etc.

E1 does not have a business function that will actually calculate the mileage. E1 has a business function in the Transportation Module that uses a 3rd party app called PC-Miler. The program takes the two address (depot & Ship-To) and determines the distance of the most likely delivery route. Search Oracle Support for PC Miler under System 49 and you should find more info for it.
