Didn\'t choose area when setting up community

I set up a new community, but left the area as a * because I wasn't aware I needed to change it. Now the chart of accounts won't link. Is there a way to reopen it so I can change it? I've already added a phase, plans, lots and released the homesites for sale.

I'm hearing from the person who is calling for help that since I left the area a star, it added to a table behind the scenes, so a whole new community has to be set up. Isn't there a way to open up that field and simply put the area in?
