Hi Ed.
Once you have recompressed the parent packages for each environment,
then you can "supposedly" delete the update packages.
However, be advised that the compress has failed at other client sites in
the past.
I would strongly recommend that you load a new fat client with the
recompressed parent packages
just to test the changes that were deployed to each environment.
Having done that, then yes.
Recompressing Parents and removal of update packages is just good Package
Management.

My deployment server (NT) is getting loaded. I want to delete all the
update packages I have built. 10 Dv packages, 15 CRP Packages, and 25 Prod
packages. I have re-compressed my parent packages. Can I safely delete all
the Update packages for each environment without causing a major failure?
