Creating Custom Object Librarian Table

Howdy & Happy Friday (if you are reading this on another day of the week,
sorry),

I am in the process of starting a JDE Modifications Project. As part of
this project I need to create a few 'centralized' tables that will contain
the record and history of any customized JDE Objects - or those that are
plagiarized(copied) from base JDE.

Since I do not want to have different tables in each environment, but one
table that all environments can review... Where is the recommend location
for that table - and what/how do I explain to CNC folk that it needs to be
mapped specifically/specially?

I'd guess the recommendation is going to be to place the table within OL,
but those of you that may have more knowledge of JDE inter-workings... can
provide better intuition...

Thanks in advance!

Hi Daniel,

Here is still "Happy Friday" though it is already 10:30 PM :)

In my humble opinion you can place your custom tables into the "Object Librarian - B733x" as well as into the "System - B733x" Data Source.

An alternate solution could be to create a new OneWorld data source to contain only your new custom system tables separating them from the others. This is the best, safest and elegant solution in my humble opinion.

In all cases, you have to create OCM mapping entries for all of your table for all of your environment, mapping these tables into the data source that you have choosen finally.
(Do not forget to activate the OCM entries :)

Happy weekend!
