Hello guys!

Can any of you tell me the implications of converting Inventory from STD (07) to Last in (01)?

We are using B733.2, and I am not even sure whether or not it is do-able?

Thanks very much

In F4105, where COLEDG = '01', column COCSIN will now say 'I'.. In F4111, if there is a cost change, a row is posted where ILDCT = 'IB', ILTREX = "Inventory Cost Change" and columns ILUNCS and ILPAID will be populated.. Such changes are easy to test because you can see a new "Value" in the Item Ledger as you make changes.. Going forward you will see that your inventory cost value can change as the result of PO confirmations.

Thanks for the reply.

However, the change is inventory valuation would apply to Manufacturing too and according to JDE (whitepaper published), this version would not support it. We would need Advanced Stock Valuation in order to achive this.

Thanks for your input.
