Consolidating Weekly Demand

Is there any way to consolidate the demand for an item? For example: If week 1 has 2 releases of 10,000 pieces and week 2 has 4 releases of 10,000 pieces, is there any way JDE can tell my supplier to ship 20,000 pieces in week 1 and 40,000 pieces in week 2?

Mike,

One method of doing this is to set your item up for Periods of Supply. =
MRP
will automatically consolidate the demand based on the time you specify
(whether it be days, weeks, or months)
