Consignment Inventory

For those who do Consignments:
How do you restock your inventory?
Do you just "IA" the inventory into stock?
When you sell the stock, the system creates an invoice for you to pay for it so if you create a PO when you need to replenish, how can you keep from paying for it again?
Is there another way?

We use receipt routing-I'm guessing you are talking about supplier
consignment. consigned material is received into the route, moved out of
the route to shipping which generates an automatic(ERS) invoice to pay the
supplier in the next check run.

To restock/replenish we run MRP, allowing the receipt route bucket to be
included in MRP, and also in availability so we can take orders against it.
All the item/branch setup for reorder points or whatever is item and
supplier relationship specific.

This is a bit general but I hope it helps.
