Configured Hub Intercompany setup and function

HELP!!

We are exploring the use of the new (!?!?!) Configured Hub Intercompany setup and function in the GL. We have some accounts that we want to direct to different intercompany accoutns to better manage the interco process. We are running in a multi-currency installation. We have called Oracle/JDE and are receiving conflicting information about usability, no information about setup (other than the user guide) and local contacts have not used or are aware tht it exists.

If anyone has setup or is using the Configured Hub Intercompany please reply.

We are on 8.10 8.96.2.1 Wintel SQL2005

I tried setting up Configured Hub, and had to abandon it after testing in favor of the Detailed Method. While the idea of the configured hub is great, there is only integration in the GL module. Meaning that if you try to enter transactions via a journal entry spanning multiple hubs, the system will stop you. The system however will ALLOW you to enter invalid transactions in other modules, such as AP, AR, or procurement. And it will only stop you when you try to post the batch. But by then the transaction has already been entered. We found this to be unacceptable and went back to Detailed Method.
