Is JDE suitable for Large number of users say more than 1000?

JDE is as capable as the hardware and DB it is run on.
1000 concurrent active users would be large, but definitely possible, given the budget.

While JDE's sweet spot is mid-cap, there are a lot of fortune 500 companies running on it with 1,000's of users. Names that come to mind include Praxair and Statoil.

I was part of an implementation at a company with 6,000 users. Not sure where but at some point the technical architecture and structure (such things as load balancing, etc) become paramount.
