Carry forward of new modified objects under system code 42 & not 55-59 in a upgrade process to Xe

Hi List

Can anybody please guide me through my following quereis ?

I am in a process of Upgrade from B733.1 to Xe. The previous developers have created some new customized objects in B733.1 under the System Code 42 instead of doing it under 55-59. Can this object be carried forward and merged in to the new Xe Enviornment in the process of Upgrade ? Does JDEdwards give the same treatment to these objects as those objects of 55-59 ?

Has anybody experienced such dificulty ? Kindly share with me.

Any replies will be highly appreciated.

Hi Salil,

Fortunately we haven't experienced in such situation but I strongly suppose that the upgrade will handle these objects like objects under 55xx-59yy system codes, EXCEPT when the name of the custom object conflicts with the name of an original OW object which didn't exist in B7331 but appears in XE (B7333).
