Blanket order release - your opinion please

Below requirement has to fulfilled in E1 9.0.

Requirement detail: a particular customer lets say C1 will place order as Blanket order to reserve large quantity of items. These items once received in the branch plant lets say BP1 should be placed in a particular location L1. From this location L1 these items are shipped to specified customers only. So its like the customer placing blanket order is the parent company & quantities finally received are the subsidiaries.

I referred to the Blanker order release application however was not sure if this would give the complete solution. Please share your opinion. Thank you.

Srini you might not be receiving any answers because your explanation of your issue is very vague, incomplete, and hard to understand. First let's start with having you provide all of the information on your E1 release, Tools release, platform, OS, etc. Next try to re-explain without using C1, BP1, L1 which is also confusing. It appears that you are asking about Blanket Sales Orders? Please share more details.

Most of us that have been in JDEList for years review daily posting activity synopsis and see your request shortly after posted. Everyone that needs help will usually get help as soon as possible but please be patient. Many of us work full time jobs and cannot work in JDEList all day.

We use Blankets to commit material for certain customers. We then release to SO's as needed. But I don't know what you are asking.
