assign a variable to a Tabular Cell

In a tabular report, is it allowable to assign a ER variable to a Tabular Cell in the row description column.That particular cell is not a RV. I am also unable to fill it with a RV as it is in a row description column

What do you mean by map?? RV will always tell you the total of that column .. you can assign it to an ER variable ..
