Anyone using a Cisco Content Switch?

We are investigating a Cisco Catalyst 6000 series Content switch to act as an application load balancer for our JDE enterprise servers. Does anyone have experience with this setup? Is anyone using any type of application load balancer that works well with JDE?

We're running ERP8.

There are some caveats to this setup. Somewhere out there on the Oracle site is a paper by Darryl Shakespeare on the subject.
