Advancing a Project & Transfer of Objects

We are trying to advance a project to a status that should Transfer Objects from one environment(DV7333) to another(PY7333).

The setup has been done in Object Transfer Activity Rules. In OMW
when we try to advance the status, the error message we get is: Error:
General Error in Method, Status Change.

The work with log details in the logging system of the OMW says these messages:

144A SAR not at From Status (Program Id P98420)
144F SAR Manager role is blank (Program Id P98420)
144G SAR Supervisor role is blank (Program Id P98420)

Could someone guide us to successfully advance the project status thereby transferring objects?

You need to be a PVC Administrator (role 06).

Hi Venkat.

OMW has worked great for us at several different client sites in the past,
so I'm inclined to believe that you have not configured OMW correctly.

When you say that "The setup has been done in Object Transfer Activity
Rules",
I assume that you or someone there has been trained in OMC.
Remember that the "Transfer Activity Rules" only specifies the activity that
is allowed.
You must also set up the "Allowed Actions" to correspond with each activity,
and remember
that the "Allowed Actions" are tied to the "User Roles".
The user that attempts to advance the project status, must have the specific
"Allowed Actions"
defined for his/hers user role.
And that user role must first be added to the project's "Owners" list before
you attempt the advance.

If all these things are set up correctly, OMW should work.

Do you use integrated SAR System?
I would be really surprised if the answer is yes, because I don't know
anybody else than JDE who uses it.
If your answer is yes, then maybe your SAR Sytem integration setup is
not correct but I can not help you in this issue.
If your answer is no then check your OMW configuration:
* go to men GH9081
* start P98230 Object Management Configuration
* press the "SAR System Integration" button
* if the "Integrate SAR System" check-box is marked then clear it and
press OK and try again your promotions
Maybe, log-off and log-on could be required after the changes.
