Hi there ,
I would like to know if the AAI 4332 is invoked under the following circumstances :
I have a branch plant ABC in which I receive my foreign PO. Now straight after receiving PO, I should apply all applicable landed costs such as Insurance, Freight etc. But what can happen in between the 2 processes (that is after receiving PO but before applying costs) is that the items are sold. The COGS will be based on the old costs and not based on the new weighted average costs (taking into consideration the new costs for the PO just received).
My question is does AAI 4332 take care of that ? Please note that costs are maintained at Item Branch Plant level.
