I have done our complete financial history conversion from AS/400 World DB2 to
SQL, B7332 using table conversions. I'd imagine XE won't be too different. I
used Access to massage the AS/400 data in order to set it up in proper byte
standards, len etc. Then setup data sources and OCMs to run table conversions
directly into appropriate tables in XE or run it through the Z files. Of
course, you want to do this in a non-PROD environment, audit the data and once
you are comfortable you can move it to Production.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Table Conversions
We are in the process of implementing Xe (SP 13)on the AS/400 (CO also on the
AS/400). I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully done
a table conversion from an AS/400 file into Xe. We have not yet been able to get
an AS/400 file to show as a foreign table in table conversion even though we
seem to have followed the procedure in JDE Document ott-99-0045.
Thank you in advance for any help!
