Re: Fixed Asset Depreciation Calculation incorrect
Check the Depreciation Method of Calculation and the first year rules.
Both of these can change the ITD and YTD amounts. Also if you have
ported the data from another system and closed the year the next year
calculations will be affected.
Are their any user defined depreciation involved? Doesn't sound like
the case but look at the rule in P12002 or from the asset, depreciation
defaults to see what these settings are.
JDE calculates depreciation by days not months but this wouldn't change
the calulation by this much.
Of course there are the simple items like processing options when you
run depreciation such as setting the period and year when depreiation
is calculated.
Most of these will be explained in the header of the asset when you
print out the depreciation preliminary report.
