Purchasing or Inventory: Which one should I implement first ?

Hi JDEList,

I need to implement Procurement and Inventory modules. As there is only one resource ( luckily that's me ) assigned to both modules, which module should be implemented first ?

Without any other context I'd do procurement first as this will make the accounting side easier. Doing procurement without inventory is not an issue, doing inventory without procurement is a pain.

I 100 percent agree with Russell. Understanding how you will account for procured items will help how you account for inventory. Doing inventory without procurement is asking for trouble.
