A bit of system information, we are running on a single enterprise =
server with a single deployment server. We use Windows NT (Workstation =
and Server), SQL 7.0 and I am developing on a FAT client. I have a =
custom find/browse form which is over a custom table using a custom =
business view.
=20
Two problems exist, firstly one of the fields in the table is Cost =
Center, but the QBE for that field doesn't function. If I don't use the =
specific QBE field and I use other QBE fields I get the records, but if =
I enter anything in the QBE for the Cost Center I don't get any records =
in the grid. Using the UTB I can see the records contain the Cost =
Center that I am attempting to use in the QBE field, in addition I =
checked the field and QBE is not disabled.
My next problem, I believe is related to the system setup. If I use my =
a Table IO control using the business view (or the table) the system =
doesn't retrieve any records from the table. I have tested this using =
existing JDE business views and the same problem occurs. The reason =
that I think this problem is associated with a system setup issue is =
that initially the client didn't have the JDE ODBC driver on the local =
system. Perhaps we are missing something else...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
