Dear List,
I am using WTS and most programms behave normally as we could see so far.
Only when I go into Batch Versions or IV I am getting a grey screen for
about 5 minutes. Once started up both programms work fine. In other words,
BV as well as IV take over 5 minutes to open up.
First thing we checked was OCM mappings for BSFNs. I tested in PY7333 and
WPY7333 with out-of-the-box OCM mappings. PY7333 has no BSFN mapped
anywhere, so they all run locally. WPY7333 has a DEFAULT mapping for BSFNs
to the ES and some BSFNs are mapped locally (like I said, as shipped by
JDE). In both environments it takes over 5 minutes for BV or IV to open up
on the screen.
There is no difference sitting at the server's console. All our fat clients
are ok.
We have 3 WTSs installed (by Microsoft technical personnel), all three
servers behave the same.
I am using pristine specs. I build full dddict, ddtext and glbltbl TAM specs
and applied them, no difference.
I know I should use Citrix, but then, it should work without it (please do
not discuss this point).
Any ideas?
Thanks, Gerd
