In property management the AR posting to the GL (Rent Receivable)is driven by the bill code on the lease instead of the GL Offset in the Customer Master. This means that we have to inccorporate the logic of our AR control accounts (which are setup as Trade, Affiliate, Employees) into the multiple Bill Codes. This gets confusing. Furthermore the property management system uses a tax explanation code of AR which creates a bill code for the tax. Therefore we would have to do the same thing to the tax codes by setting up different tax rate areas and different tax offsets to correspond to the AR control accounts (to record the tax receivable from the customer). Does anyone have a solution for simplifying this?
