Cross Reference Facility

I am trying to rebuild the relationships for the Cross Reference Facility screen. I run the UBE locally and get a blank PDF for my trouble. I have installed ESU JD9475 to correct the following errors in my jde.log file:

324/350 Mon Dec 03 08:56:12 2001 jdb_omp1.c493
JDB9900245 - Failed to find F98611 in cache

324/350 Mon Dec 03 08:56:12 2001 jdb_rq1.c1652
JDB3100011 - Failed to get location of table F98753 for environment DV7333

It worked in as far as I don't get the errors any more, but the process isn't working yet either. I just get a blank PDF.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, what's your configuration?
Here what you need to do:
- you need to copy all JDE versions of R980011 UBE.
- Open the processing options of your versions and blank out the value of
Path Code. (ours was APPL_PGF).
- run your desired version
It did work for us!
Good Luck

I too am trying to rebuild the cross reference relationships and followed the advice given in this thread. The process seems to be working okay but is taken hours and hours to run for any one version. Is this normal or have we some issue we need to address?

I notice that in the JDE.LOG we keep getting entries like the following and there are many thousands of these......

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:09:09 2002 DBPERFRQ.C377
OCI0000178 - Unable to execute - 0 - INSERT INTO DV7333.F980021 (SJOBNM, SJFMT, SJDTAN, SJOBJP, SJATRP, SJDL01, SJKYSQ, SJFCTNM, SJAPPLID) VALUES :)BND1,:BND2,:BND3,:BND4,:BND5,:BND6,:BND7,:BND8,:BND9)

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:09:09 2002 DBPERFRQ.C384
OCI0000179 - Error - ORA-00001: unique constraint (DV7333.F980021_PK) violated

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:09:09 2002 jdb_drvm.c917
JDB9900401 - Failed to execute db request

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:09:09 2002 jdb_exet.c4474
JDB3400009 - Failed to perform Insert for F980021

We also get entries such as ...

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:06:53 2002 B9800030.c2417
****CROSS-REF DETECTS ER MISMATCH****

1508/1840 Thu Jun 06 06:06:53 2002 B9800030.c2421
The Data Structure, T15403, only has 18 members while the app/form, R15403/S25, calls member # 30.

Should we be concerned??

Any help please?

We did a lot of work on cross referencing a year or two ago (B732) which is documented in the archives of this forum. Error messages like this are normal - expect thousands of them!
How long does the xref take? It took 6 to 8 weeks, yes weeks, of almost continuous processing. Even then we had to do each type of object separately.
Business functions did not get fully xrefd so we had to write something to do this separately. This is easy as the source can be scanned.
We are using B7333 now so I don't know whether the facilites are any better in Xe etc.
It was worth it in the end for a number of reasons.
