Receiving OT\'s in a different UOM

Help! We are running XE and we need to be able to generate the ST in feet and have the OT generated in meters. Another option is to allow the OT to be received in meters. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You can set purchasing uom on the item master as meters and a uom conversion(s) for it. Make sure the version of purchase order used in the st/ot has transaction uom processing option set to use purchasing uom rather than primary. These settings should work together to default the purchasing uom (meters) into the PO created by the OT and would thus allow receipt by the same uom (meters).

Thanks Marcher, but I have already tried that. It doesn't work in XE. I read somewhere that the functionality to do that comes back in 8.9 or something. I was hoping there was a work around for XE.

Maybe someone has a work around for receiving the OT in a different UOM....because the system let's me receive an OP in a different UOM, just not an OT.
