Strange error/message

Hi guys

It's me again :)

My last question, I mean today last :)

Have you ever meet this screen? What does "1" code mean????
In my opinion it could be connecting with too many user logging to system. But code 1 is very strange.

This has to do with your AS400 user profile, you can try by giving it *ALLOBJ rights

But I have ALL OBJ auth. :)

And fortunatelly I have never seen more times this screen :)

I've just tried using the "JDE Pristine Environment A7.3" and got this screen with error code 3

The other environments all work fine. Any ideas what Error 3 means?

Thanks

Hi Neilwar,

I would like to to say that my problem selfresolved ;-) In Next day I can log on without any problem.

I think that this is some special screen ;-) which can show us that nobody don't know JDE from A to Z ;-)

Grrrrr,

Firstly, thank you for advising that the problem "selfresolved". But
that begs the question - Why did you post in the first place?

What does the verbage in your second (one sentence) paragraph mean?
What do you really mean by "I think that this is some special screen
;-)" - what empirical evidence do you have to support your fanciful
supposition? As for the second part - it is a fair supposition that
there is nobody on this list (or anywhere else) that knows JDE from A to
Z, that is why we have JDEList - so what's your point?

Neilwar,

It is all about the imbedded JDE software security functions to ensure
the installed software is "kosher".

Just a simple thought - I suspect it is probably something to do with
the set up of your JDESEC/JDEOBJ libraries and their contents - I think
it is saying that the "Pristine Environment" is past its licensed "Use
by Date". I would have thought the "pristine environment" would have
shared the same JDESEC and JDEOBJ libraries as all other environments.
Check your LIBL for pristine versus the others, then check the contents
(objects), also check the QJDF DTAARA used for each environment (and the
library it comes from). See menu G94 and the option for updating the
QJDF DTAARA

I am sure there are others on the list that will give you much more
detailed suggestions (and answers).

Mr Skorek, based on the attachment he included in his original post,
seems to be having problems with his installed software at the most
basic level that either someone else has fixed and he didn't know about
it, or, he fixed and didn't realise the interrelationship, or, his
installation is not using a "kosher" copy.

Colin
