SharePoint Portal

Has anyone tried using SharePoint portal with JDE?

We are a microsoft shop and utilize Sharepoint portal providing out users with a single point of sign on. While this works fairly well for our current apps we are in the process of implementing ERP 8 on SQL server and JDE doesn't support the SharePoint portal.

Another problem we are running into is that in PeopleSoft HR we can use the person's email address to sign in (thereby providing our single point of sign in) and JDE limits the userid to 10 characters.

I'm looking for thoughts on how to acocmplish.

You might try doing a search on the this forum for Unified Logins. This uses NT security for JDE logins but you do run into some restrictions on user ID size, etc. I implemented it in October and it works quite well.
