I have a custom report that has many versions. I can search on the
object|version name in OMW but I can't find just the object. If the
object was in a project already, it says next to the object name,
<<Object does not exist>>. However, I can run the versions through
Batch Versions without a problem. First ques: How can versions run if
there isn't a template? The versions don't have any overrides
configured.
Secondly, after some investigating, I now have a fat client that can use
RDA to view the template, so I'm assuming the specs are on that fat
client, but the object is not checked out. How can I do a 'fake'
checkout to this fat client and get the token so I can check it back in
to the server? Is there such a process?
Thirdly, if I have a previous update package that I know these reports
worked after it was deployed, can I redeploy that package to get the
specs on the server?
