LDAP server & OneWorld XE users

Is it some possibility in OneWorld XE, how to use users profiles from LDAP server? Or must be all users defined only in OneWorld XE? And another way, if I have users defined in OneWorld XE, can the LDAP server authorize users to UNIX system? IF OneWorld XE is installed on UNIX.

The KG seems to say OW will be ldap compatible since ERP9.0, and NOT BEFORE.
If anybody knows much...

As was dicussed at last year's FOCUS, external authentication methods such as LDAP are not going to be supported with anything below ERP9.0. JDE is paranoid about touching anything related to security in a production release.
As for the original poster's thought about hacking the OW tables directly good luck. You would need to reverse engineer JDE's password hash function as the passwords are stored in encrypted form.
