Hi,
We're looking into an application/system monitoring solution using Oracle's Application management suite extended with the JD Edwards "plug in".
We run 3 systems mainly on IBM i but we do have a healthy mix several peripheral systems like OAS webservers, OAS transaction servers, BSSV's etc.
When I look at the datasheet, it says it's compatible with DB2/400 but to what extend? Can Oracle's Management suite monitor and control the JD Edwards processes that are running on the i? Is it just SNMP or does it go deeper than that? Has anyone any experience in this field and if so what is your opinion?
