JDE and the cloud

Hello everyone

Anyone had any experience moving JDE E1 to a cloud solution? like AWS?

We have an on-premise installation of JDE E1 8.11 and looking for a disaster recovery solution, someone suggested moving our whole installation to the cloud so we can take advantage of Avaliability Zones and stuff like that.

I know that Amazon now allow JDE 9 in their services, but as a new installation.

Any comments will be appreciated!

I believe Oracle already have cloud, but dont know whether for new customer or for existing.
