Changing DD present in Bootstrap Tables

I have read that we need to update the jdekrnlspecs if we make changes to the DDs being used in bootstrap tables. I also came to know about a program called krnspec.exe.

Does anybody have the documentation on how to use it and then deploy the chages thus made to the entire system..?

If I were you, I wouldn't change bootstrap tables...

Second that. It's a really unnerving proposition. There is a measurable chance you can make it work, but it's likely to come back to haunt you later anyway... On the other hand, a lot of this stuff is hard-coded in JDE, so some parts may simply not work after such changes.

Seems like it was a dangerous move from my end. Well let me see if I have a workaround to get the security in place. else I have no option.. Will go for it only as a last choice. I dont want to goof up things working fine and wake up in the middle of night to hear something is not working..
