NERs/BSFN

Hi Guys,

I'm relatively new to JDE and I would like to know the difference between Business Functions and Named Event Rules?

Welcome to JDEList.

All NERs are BSFNs, but not all BSFNs are NERs (actually very few). That being said, all BSFNs are compiled C code (into DLLs and equivalent for other OSs). NERs are written using the JDE Event Rule builder tool and then a C code file is produced by the system from the ER, which in turn is compiled.
